Bryan and Cynthia's Elopement at the Santa Barbara Courthouse

Early mornings in Santa Barbara have a special kind of magic, and Bryan and Cynthia’s elopement was no exception. On a foggy morning, the couple chose to tie the knot at the breathtaking Santa Barbara Courthouse. This Spanish Colonial Revival masterpiece boasts lush gardens, iconic architecture, and historic charm, setting a perfect stage for romantic weddings and elopements.

Their ceremony unfolded in the courthouse's outer gardens, a serene and intimate setting. With loved ones in attendance and their dog Gandalf (looking dapper in a bowtie), they exchanged vows amidst the chiming bells of the courthouse.

Post-ceremony, we ventured through the courthouse grounds for a romantic photo session. We meandered through elegant corridors, played with the moody lighting of the mural room, and ascended the grand staircase. And, of course, we couldn’t resist the allure of the lush Sunken Gardens. The stunning architecture provided a timeless backdrop for editorial portraits and romantic images.

Every candid moment was captured, transforming their love-filled morning into an unforgettable series of photos. Their moody morning elopement was intimate, special, and perfectly reflective of who they are.
